Child Safety

Hi Chat · Quang Minh Trí

Version 0.1.0Updated: 18 October 2026

1. Scope and protection principles

These standards apply to Hi Chat, the friend connection, messaging and calling application developed by Quang Minh Trí, with Android package ID com.quangminhtri.hichat. In these standards, protections for people under 18 also cover eligible users aged 16–17. Additional protections required by local law continue to apply.

2. Minimum age

Hi Chat is intended for people aged 16 or older, or a higher age where required by the law where they live. People under 16 may not register for or use Hi Chat. Permission from a parent or guardian does not create an exception to this limit. Hi Chat provides ordinary communication and does not include random stranger matching or anonymous chat features.

3. Prohibited abuse and exploitation

Hi Chat prohibits all child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming for sexual purposes, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, child trafficking and sexual exploitation. Creating, uploading, requesting, circulating or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including synthetic or AI-generated depictions of abuse, is prohibited. Meeting the minimum account age does not change these prohibitions.

4. Conduct involving minors

Do not pressure anyone under 18 to provide intimate images, private information or location, or move a conversation to another channel to evade the detection and handling of abuse. Do not threaten, bully, impersonate or expose their personal information. Do not use Hi Chat to arrange abuse online or in person.

5. How to report a safety concern

Send a report to support@quangminhtri.com with the subject “Hi Chat — Child safety”. Include the relevant account identifier, time of the incident, type of conduct and a short description; provide only what is necessary for review. Do not attach, download again or redistribute CSAM as evidence. Never send passwords, one-time codes or identity documents unless instructed through an appropriate channel.

6. Review and response principles

Reports should be assessed using lawfully accessible information and the level of risk to the people affected. Depending on the circumstances, responses may include requesting further information, restricting or terminating accounts, blocking or removing violating content within the service’s control, and cooperating with competent authorities. Confirmed CSAM must be addressed and reported to NCMEC or an appropriate authority where required by applicable law.

7. Underage accounts and related data

Users, parents or guardians who suspect an underage account may contact privacy@quangminhtri.com to request a review and action concerning personal data. Verification should be limited to necessary information. Requests for account restrictions or data deletion must be handled consistently with privacy rights, evidence-preservation obligations and applicable legal retention requirements.

8. Immediate danger

If someone faces an immediate risk of abuse or danger, contact local emergency services or child protection authorities. Reporting to Hi Chat does not replace contacting those authorities.

9. Contact

Child safety questions and reports: support@quangminhtri.com. Privacy, underage-account and personal data requests: privacy@quangminhtri.com. Include Hi Chat in the subject so the application can be identified.
