Hi Chat · Quang Minh Trí

Version 0.1.0Updated: 18 October 2026

1. Scope and developer

This draft applies only to Hi Chat, the messaging, calling and social connection application developed by Quang Minh Trí. It does not describe other applications or the corporate website. The confirmed Android package ID is com.quangminhtri.hichat.

2. Account and profile information

Hi Chat uses account identifiers and profile information to identify users and help them connect with friends. The exact sign-in fields, optional profile fields and authentication providers must be confirmed against the released application.

3. Messages, media and calls

Messages, shared media, call information and friend connections support the communication features you choose to use. Storage locations, access controls, encryption, call metadata and whether any call content is stored must be verified before this policy becomes effective.

4. Device permissions

Camera and microphone access support video and voice features when permission is granted. Notifications support incoming communication alerts. Confirm the permission inventory for each platform before release. You can change granted permissions in your device settings.

5. Service providers and sharing

The developer confirms that Hi Chat uses Signal Protocol and Firebase. Signal Protocol is recorded separately from the third-party service inventory. Its implementation and coverage require verification before making encryption claims. The enabled Firebase services, purposes, data received or processed, and any international processing arrangements also require verification. A separately declared OneSignal dependency remains under review for actual production use. This draft does not assert that message content is sent to Signal, Firebase or OneSignal.

6. Retention, deletion and privacy requests

Retention periods for profiles, messages, media, call records, security logs and backups are pending verification. Contact the privacy address below for access, correction or deletion inquiries. See the separate Hi Chat data deletion page for the request channel and outstanding operational details.

7. Minimum age

Hi Chat is intended for people aged 16 or older to connect with friends, exchange messages and make calls. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age to use the service, you must meet that age. People under 16 may not register for or use Hi Chat, even with permission from a parent or guardian.

8. Privacy for users aged 16–17

The minimum-age requirement does not remove protections available to minors. Users aged 16–17 should take care when sharing personal information, images, location and contact details. Never share passwords or verification codes with other people. Hi Chat’s child safety standards prohibit grooming, harassment, sextortion and exploitation involving anyone under 18.

9. Reporting an underage account

If you believe someone below the permitted age is using Hi Chat, send only the information needed to identify the account to privacy@quangminhtri.com. Parents or guardians may use the same address to request a review of their child’s data. Verification, account restrictions and deletion requests must protect the privacy of the people involved and respect applicable retention obligations. Do not send identity documents or sensitive information unless you receive instructions through an appropriate channel.

10. Changes and contact

Published revisions will have a version number and effective date. This draft has no effective date. Contact privacy@quangminhtri.com with Hi Chat privacy questions.
